Remember the key is also using less trash, but with the trash you have let’s make sure to get it separated to help the environment!

We reflected on 6 major groups of trash in the video but household garbage is usually classified and collected in many more depending on the prefecture. Especially, pay attention to Toxic Garbage and Other Plastics which were not mentioned in the video. Also make sure to separate garbage in the correct type of bag, which is different depending on the city’s rules. If you have large items for disposal, please contact the appropriate service to arrange for a pick-up (a charge in most cases will apply).
